Charlotte metal quintet Wretched are currently in the studio working on full-length album three entitled, 'Son of Perdition'.

The band's label Victory Records has set March 27 as the studio album's release date.

"Wretched has entered the studio to record their third full-length album, Son of Perdition. The forthcoming effort is set for a March 27 release via Victory Records and will be produced by Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, He Is Legend, For Today) at The Basement Recording in Winston Salem, North Carolina," a press release states.

"Son of Perdition [also] exposes a more melodic approach to the Wretched sound," guitarist Steven Funderburk said.
