World View with that killer new 7".

Since their 2014 demo, Adelaide's World View were working hard away on their next release. However, they more or less realised they had a bit of a stinker on their hands, and they completely scrapped it. Since going back to the drawing board, they have crafted out, apparently, a far more melodically charged five-track release that perfectly balances out their hardcore/punk rock edge.

A great example of this is a song like 'May', my personal favourite for whatever that's worth, and frankly, scrapping that original release may have really been for the best I feel. (Yes, I know I haven't heard it but I'll take the band's word for it).

Musically, think of Sydney's Endless Heights meets Perth's The Others, with the quality of both to back it up. Recorded at Depict Studios and mixed & mastered by Will Yip (whose name is becoming insanely popular lately), 'Waking Up' is currently streaming online now (see below, fam) and any and all physical copies will be shipped out next month. Speaking of which...

If you pre-order the new release through Last Ride Records, you'll snag yourself a nice exclusive shirt. Thus making yourself look cool at shows and can cut the bad news to those who ask where they can pick up one.
