World Premiere Season Of 'The Wider Earth' Opens In July

The Wider Earth, based on Charles Darwin's voyage on the HMS Beagle, brings puppets and people to the stage in an epic production.

Supported by the Queensland Theatre Company, Dead Puppet Society, singer/songwriter Lior and Sydney producer Tony Buchen. With over 30 custom made puppets, eight actors and two leading musical creators in Lior and Buchen, The Wider Earth is ready to remake the theatrical experience.

The team has eight weeks of design and creation behind them for the puppets and rehearsals beginning soon.

Opening on 14 July, it is the most ambitious production for the Dead Puppet Society to date.
