If you ask Jayden Seeley from With Confidence what represents depression to him, then the Harry Potter lovers among their fan base will probably get a kick out of the name of this new track.

Probably.
Vocalist and guitarist for this Sydney pop-punk outfit, Jayden Seeley, elaborated about naming this song after the central Harry Potter villain:
"Fear of a name only increases fear of the thing itself.’ Voldemort is my personification of mental illness and this song is a big, happy and carefree fuck you to Voldemort.“
However, aside from the title, there aren't any actual references to the HP movie/book franchise, which is kind of a bummer. But what's not a bummer is pop-punk music (generally speaking), so it makes sense that the band doesn't really want to focus on the negatives. You know, being posi and all that jazz.
