A Year At Sea is released next month.
A Year At Sea is the name of the debut album from Sydney's Winter People, following hot on the heels of the band's very well received Gallons single and the EP it spawned. This longplayer will be the ultimate proof as to whether or not the band have the ability to hold the interest of the listener over a longer stretch of time, though anyone who has seen them performing live over the past couple of years will likely back their skills up without issue.
The six-piece, which features a couple of violinists and no fewer than five vocalists, have that pastoral folk sound that is undoubtedly very popular right now, but the important thing is, they have the skills to back it up. You'll be abale to witness this not just on the album, but when the band make a journey around the country, playing songs from the aforementioned record in all sorts of different live settings. Dates for the tour are below.
