Californian deathcore outfit Winds of Plague have opened up about their recent collaboration with former professional wrestler, The Ultimate Warrior.

Killyourstereo reported last week that The Ultimate Warrior, real name James Hellwig, had lent his services to Winds of Plague's forthcoming studio album, 'Against the World'. On the album, Hellwig provides his voice to the spoken word track, 'The Warrior Code'.

Consequently, AOL's Noisecreep caught up with the band's vocalist, Johnny Plague to discuss the news. In the interview Plague talks about the joy of scoring the wrestler's contributions.

"When we were planning for this album, we decided to pull all stops and go big…Other then the music itself, we were thinking on how to put this album over the top and keep people talking. I was driving home from the studio one day and it clicked in my head that we share management with The Ultimate Warrior. I knew it was a long shot, but I put the call in and within a few hours, The Warrior had agreed…This news was mind blowing," the musician said.

'Against the World' is due out April 19th via Century Media.
