As of earlier this week the full line-up for Northlane's massive Free Your Mind 2014 tour has been announced: Thy Art Is Murder, Veil Of Maya, Volumes and Make Them Suffer will join the post-hardcore favourites around the country this May.
But that's not quite the complete line-up.
The fine folks at Northlane and UNFD are now on the search for local bands around the country to open each show with a blistering 20-minute set.
The competition is officially open today and will run until 12pm Thursday 20 March, so that gives you exactly two weeks to get your act together and get your entry in. To enter you need to pick your best song (just one) and supply a link to somewhere where we and the band can hear it (that's a Soundcloud, YouTube, Facebook etc. link). The people at the top will then take a listen through everything and the winners will be announced Thursday 3 April.
So get the word out and tell your mates to enter, because true to their form Northlane are dead keen to uncover some of the country's best new heavy bands.
