Whitechapel release new song...no clean vocals found, yet

Whitechapel have given us the first taste of new music, with the US outfit releasing new track 'Mark Of the Blade'

They say any news is good news, and while that's, perhaps, overly general and not always true (just ask Five Finger Death Punch at the moment), there are some exceptions to the rule.

All those metal purists and keyboard warriors (often the same thing) were deep in debate when it emerged, as observed by frontman Phil Bozeman, that Whitechapel's new album would feature clean vocals. What it did do, whether intentional or not, is create a lot of interest and curiosity in the band's upcoming full-length.

Well, folks...Now, we have the first taste of new music, with the US outfit releasing new track 'Mark Of the Blade', the title track from the group's forthcoming record.

If this song (listen below) is indicative, Whitechapel will again adopt a prominent heavy blueprint. Rest easy, everyone.

'Mark Of the Blade' is due out this June via Metal Blade. International pre-orders are available here.
