What Would Sydney Look Like Post Lockout Laws? This Event Is Going To Find Out

Global Cities After Dark is taking place is this November.

Global Cities After Dark returns to Sydney once more, with this year's event asking 'what will Sydney look like post lockout laws?' 

Leading the event is international author, speaker and the founder of the Creative Cities Index, Charles Landry who will be sharing his keynote From A ‘No, Because’ To A ‘Yes, If’ Culture: How Can Our Bureaucracies Be More Creative? at the 15 November event.

Additionally, there will also be the 'Post Lockout Plan For Sydney' workshop, where experts will share their plans for what the city could look like in the years following the end of the Sydney lockout laws. 

This will include exploring one, five and 10 year plans all working on different themes by guests including The City Of Sydney’s Nightlife & Creative Sector Advisory Panel co-chair Kerri Glasscock, AHA’s John Green, Night Time Industries Association’s Michael Rodrigues and more.

There will also be the 'Hypothetical: Drugs, Just Say Know' panel, where Former Federal Police Commissioner Mick Palmer, DanceWize CEO Mary Harrod, Drug Free Australia's Gary Christian, and Australian Festivals Association's Adelle Robinson will explore safety around drug use at music festivals.
