'Weird Al' Yankovic Cancels Falls Festival Marion Bay Show

Tasmania to miss out on the comedy legend.

Beloved US satirist and songwriter "Weird Al" Yankovic has cancelled his appearance at NYE's Falls Festival in Marion Bay just a week before it was to take place

Taking to his Facebook yesterday, the Grammy Award-winning artist said the date had to be axed due to "unforeseen logistical difficulties by the festival's production in arranging for our show..."

Yankovic assured his fans that his sets at Falls in Byron Bay and Lorne, as well as his Southbound show will all still go ahead. 

"Again, I'm really sorry, Tasmania. If there was any possible way for me to still do the show, I'd dearly love to - but they're telling me now that there's not," he wrote.
