Weezer add extra Melbourne show to Australian tour

Weezer have added an additional Melbourne show to their 2013 Australian tour in which they’ll perform their 1996 album, Pinkerton, in its entirety along with a selection of their greatest hits.

The newly added show will take place Thursday 17 January at St Kilda’s Palais Theatre, a venue substantially smaller than their previously announced Melbourne date at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Presale tickets go on sale at 9 am Tuesday 30 October via Ticketmaster.

Weezer will perform their 1994 debut album – commonly referred to as The Blue Album – during all four previously announced dates.

Sydney’s Cloud Control and Brisbane’s Ball Park Music have also been confirmed to support at all shows.
