The Florida band are looking back at their lauded self-titled first record for a celebratory run of shows.
Ten years on from the release of their acclaimed self-titled debut album, Floridian rockers We The Kings will return to Australia for a celebratory run of shows in honour of the anniversary.
The band will be playing the full-length in its entirety on the upcoming jaunt, which kicks off with a licensed all-ages show in Brisbane on Thursday 1 February. From there, the five-piece head to Sydney (lic AA), Melbourne (AA and 18+ gigs), Adelaide (lic AA) and Perth, where they wrap up a week on from touching down, on Thursday 8 February.
The seminal record contained a number of successful singles for the then-nascent outfit, including Secret Valentine, Skyway Avenue and their Platinum-selling #1 breakthrough Check Yes Juliet (Run Baby Run).
"Press play and let nostalgia kick in, reminding you of the exact time you heard your first We The Kings song… now add every other song from our first album and, boom, that's a party," frontman Travis Clark said in a statement.
