This band can't be real
Norwegian siblings and comedy duo Vegard and Bård Ylvisåker, aka Ylvis, shot to global attention last year with their frustratingly infectious viral hit What Does The Fox Say? - and now they've returned to finish the job with new single Trucker's Hitch.
The new cut is a kind of electro-country(?) deal, with the pair's usual penchant for dance-vibe choruses sandwiched between ludicrous verses - in this case, lamenting their inability to successfully tie a Trucker's Hitch-style knot.
"I know the Bowline, Sheepshank, and the Double Overhand, but the Trucker's Hitch, I just don't understand," they sing, before dropping into a super lazy chorus - which at least is less annoying than that of What Does The Fox Say? - and eventually descending into a genuinely confusing dance sequence that looks probably a little too complex (what with the need for a piece of rope and all) to actually take off on club floors.
You can check out the clip below. It's no Stonehenge but it'll kill some time, and maybe even your hump-day blues.
