Indie-rock royalty Arcade Fire performed a special tribute to town hero Michael J Fox at their show in Edmonton — Fox's birthplace — this weekend past, busting out an irresistably hip-grooving rendition of Huey Lewis And The News' 1980s hit Back In Time, from Back To The Future.
The performance came replete with besuited, box-TV-headed dancer, whose cranium was constructed to screen looping images of Fox's many wonderful shred-faces that fans of the film will immediately recognise as largely taken from his spellbinding performance of Johnny B Goode at Enchantment Under The Sea dance (You know, the part where Back To The Future casually insinuates that rock'n'roll was actually the product of a black man "ripping off" a white guy, and not the other way around).
