Warner Music Australasia Reveal New A&R Group - "We've Assembled An Amazing Team"

Warner Music Australasia have unveiled their brand new A&R team, with the new group spearheading the search for the best new Aussie and NZ talent.

Headed up by new SVP of A&R Paul Harris (who took on the role in 2020), the company has announced a stack of new signings including Jessica Mauboy, Boy Soda, daine, Budjerah, and heaps more.

“I’m committed to breaking more artists from Australia and New Zealand on the global stage," WMA President Dan Rosen commented of the new team. "To do that, we’ve assembled an amazing team to support our talent and help develop their careers. 

"Their diverse backgrounds and interests reflect the different types of artist we’re looking to sign and they’ll have their ears to the ground to help us find the freshest and most creative new talent.”

Nine new faces will make up the division including grime and rap expert Christopher Kevin Au, 2021 30 Under 30 recipient Larissa Jane Ryan, new A&R manager Jackson Christie, ARIA nominated producer Mohamed Komba, NZ rep Stevi Hill, former Spotify Artist & Label Marketing Manager Marcus Thain, Rose Sejean - who is pivoting within MWA from the Sync & Licensing team, and new Creative Producer Jess Peach.

Harris echoed his excitement for the new additions to his team, adding, “When I was approached to join Warner Music, I knew it was the right move for me. The company is so strongly focused on identifying the best new talent from Australia and New Zealand, and breaking them not just here at home, but worldwide."
