Carla Geneve, Death By Denim & More Confirmed For WAMFest 2021

"The biggest WA music event of its kind."

WA Music Week is shaping up to be a huge celebration of local talent, with West Australian Music (WAM) today locking in its 2021 WAMFest line-up.

The celebration of local original music, which was postponed last November due to COVID, will take over venues across the city and beyond from March 26-27, showcasing over 160 acts, including Carla Geneve, Peter Bibby’s Dog Act, The Floors, Dulcie, Great Gable, Furchick, Grievous Bodily Calm, Death By Denim and more.

Alongside the huge weekend celebration, WAM has also confirmed the return of its Scarbs Beach Party, set to take place on March 21 at various stages across Scarborough with over 40 acts.

"WAMFest presented by Act Belong Commit is the biggest WA music event of its kind,” Festival Director and Curator Mark Neal said.

“It’s been happening in this state for as long as I've been alive and it’s an honour to be able to celebrate WA music through this unique community festival experience. In a turbulent time for music festivals and venues, being able to see this finally come to life is incredibly exciting.”

The WAMFest announcement follows details of WAMAwards and WAMCon over the past week.
