You don't have to look far on the Australian soundscape to see the impact that WA music has on the scenes, so its not surprising that the 2015 WAM Festival date announcement also comes with news that an extra day has been added to the event.
Last year's festival introduced a Block Party to the reformatted Saturday Spectacular that, coupled with the conference side of things, saw more than 10,000 punters get involved.
The 2015 WAM Festival will kick off Thursday 5 November and runs until Sunday 8 November, with applications for artists now open via the organisation's website.
As the artists are being rounded up, the conference will also be taking shape, with panels, networking sessions, and the awards night being co-ordinated.
