Wage WarAmerican metalcore band Wage War are returning to Australia in July and August, today announcing a five-date national tour.
Joined by special guests Orthodox – also hailing from the US – and Melbourne heavyweights HEAVENSGATE, Wage War return to Australia for the first time since 2024, when they performed at Knotfest Australia and played a run of sideshows, as well as opened for Disturbed on their arena sideshow.
Having visited fans Down Under since 2017, this tour marks the band’s most expansive.
The shows begin at Freo.Social on Thursday, 30 July. From there, they continue at Adelaide’s The Gov on Saturday, 1 August, Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Sunday, 2 August, Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Thursday, 6 August, and conclude at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday, 7 August. The Adelaide and Sydney shows are all ages, while the others are 18+.
Fans signed up to the band’s website can access early bird tickets on Wednesday, 29 April, at 10 am local time. The promoter early bird pre-sale opens on Thursday, 30 April, at 11 am AEST, and you can register here for access.
That’s followed by the general sale on Friday, 1 May, at 10 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Destroy All Lines website.
Wage War are touring after the release of their recent EP, It Calls Me By Name, which marks the follow-up to their latest album, Stigma, released in 2024. That album was home to the track MAGNETIC, which topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. Bridging the gap between metalcore and accessible rock tunes, they’re a band in high demand.
