"An extremely beneficial endeavour."

Joelistics, Cool Out Sun’s N’fa Forster-Jones and more have been selected to take part in the Victorian Music Development Office’s latest initiative.

Teaming up with CLOCK Your Skills again, VMDO has selected five Victorian music business professionals who will take part in a three-day bootcamp that will “validate their work skills and experience with formal qualification credits”.

Joining the aforementioned participants with be Gerada McKenna (White Sky Royalty Accounting), Lisa Palermo (Ellpee Management) and Emily York (Penny Drop).

This year’s bootcamp will be facilitated by CLOCK founder Denise Stanley and board director, music publisher, artist manager Paulette Long.

2020 is the second year the bootcamp will run in Victoria, following its debut last April, which saw Chelsea Gough (Native Tongue Music Publishing) and Siobhan Kranz (Mushroom Group) participate.

“The CLOCK program was an extremely beneficial endeavour for me professionally," Kranz said. "The nature of the program meant that I was able to assess my skills retrospectively and reflect on what expertise I had built in my career thus far. It was amazing to be able to take this time to look back at my work which is difficult in such a fast-paced industry. The portfolio is comprehensive and really highlights how your creative work could be applied at a tertiary level."
