UPDATE: Vivid Sydney has been rescheduled. It has been announced that the event will now run from 17 September to 9 October in light of the state's COVID-19 outbreak.

The program for VIVID Sydney 2021 is here!
The festival, which kicks off from Friday 6 August, will feature over 200 events in live music, dance, performance art and much more.
Among the big names in the music sector include performances from King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Amyl & The Sniffers, Flight Facilities, Ngaiire, Mia Rodriguez, Hiatus Kaiyote, Genesis Owusu, Cashmere Cat, Milan Ring and tons more across stages throughout the city's most loved venues.
Highlighting indie labels and the vibrant local music scene, the Studio Parties series will also return with performances from Low Life, RVG and Methyl Ethel.

The event also includes the previously announced show from Sampa The Great at Sydney Opera House, including the debut performance of An Afro Future. Celebrating the massive success of The Return, the hip hop artist (real name Sampa Tembo) will perform the album in full with appearances from KYE and fellow artist and Tembo's own sister, Mwanje.
The festival will also include a number of in-conversation events, entitled Misfits And Mavericks. The series will include discussions with Briggs, Nat's What I Reckon, Magda Szubanski, Dr Norman Swan and The Good Place actor and public figure Jameela Jamil.
