Swedish post-punk outfit Viagra Boys are heading back to Australia.
The Man Made Of Meat outfit will return to Australia in January 2026, after touring Down Under in November 2024. The band will also make their live debut in New Zealand next January.
Solidifying themselves as one of the most exciting bands of the 2020s, Viagra Boys formed a decade ago and have released four albums: 2018’s Street Worms, 2021’s Welfare Jazz, 2022’s Cave World, and this year’s Viagr Aboys. Through their unique brand of post-punk music, the band use dark humour and satire to comment on hypermasculinity and far-right conspiracy theories.
Viagra Boys have built a devoted following in Australia, which shows in the growth of venues on their upcoming tour.
Bringing their Infinite Anxiety tour to Australia and New Zealand, the tour begins at Auckland’s Powerstation on Thursday, 15 January, before heading to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday, 17 January, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Sunday, 18 January, Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Tuesday, 20 January, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Wednesday, 21 January, and wraps up at Fremantle Prison on Friday, 23 January.
Frontier and Penny Drop Members can access pre-sale tickets on Thursday, 15 May, at 11 am local time ahead of the general sale opening on Friday, 16 May, at 1 pm local time. You can find tickets and more ticketing information on the Frontier Touring website.

Reviewing the band’s show at Melbourne’s Forum last November, The Music’s Guido Farnell wrote, “Viagra Boys are substantially more than one of those headache-inducing noisy punk bands. Their beats groove, and there are plenty of hooks and melodies to latch onto while you consider their lyrics.
“In a relatively short period of time, Viagra Boys have established themselves as a unique voice in punk music. Tonight, they gave fans the exhilarating thrills they were after.”
