Varg Vikernes arrested “on suspicion of planning a major atrocity”

Notorious black metal identity Varg Vikernes has again fallen foul of the law, with the musician arrested for allegedly planning a large-scale massacre.

The Burzum singer, who has previously served 15 years for murder, was arrested in France this week.

“Varg Vikernes, 40, who served 15 years in jail in Norway for killing a fellow “black metal” rock musician, was seized at his farmhouse near Salon-la-Tour, a village in central France. His French wife, Marie Cachet, 25, was also held,” the Times reports.

Similalrly, Metal Injection details authorities became curious of Vikernes motives after monitoring his personal website.
