Hard rock legends Van Halen have cancelled every show booked after June 26 of this year, a decision that pundits are tipping is due to infighting within the ranks of the band. The hard rockers, who have been held down by brothers Eddie and Alex Van Halen throughout their 40 year career, only reunited with classic early vocalist David Lee Roth who left the band in 1985 after tension between the band's members become unbearable, in 2006.

The group were set to headline the Soundwave Revolution festival in Australia last year, which ended up being cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the promoters. While little has been said on the matter, it is widely believed that Van Halen's cancellation was the catalyst for the decision.

The checkered history of the band's personal relationships, the cancellation of such a large number of dates, the lack of statement coming from any party in relation to the matter and no word of rescheduled shows seems to suggest infighting within the band has been reignited.

The band released A Different Kind of Truth, their first album in 14 years and first with Lee Roth in 28 years.
