Vacations Plot Intimate 2026 Australian Tour

Vacations are touring in support of their forthcoming new single, 'Holy Grail,' which stems from a new album on the way.

Australian indie rockers Vacations are coming home in July, today announcing an intimate yet expansive run.

Touring in support of their forthcoming single, Holy Grail (out on Tuesday, 12 May), from an upcoming new album, fans will get a taste of new music from Vacations and see them in small spaces for what might be the final time.

In addition to their Australian dates, Vacations will play shows across the US and Asia, presenting the third edition of their MATES Festival in Queens, New York, this June. The festival will see them spotlight established and emerging talent from Australia and the US, including grentperez, girlpuppy, Mamalarky, Alex Lahey, Horse Jumper of Love, Thelma Plum, and Winter.

Vacations’ national tour dates begin at Perth’s Freo.Social on Saturday, 11 July. The fun continues at Adelaide’s UniBar on Sunday, 12 June, Brisbane’s The Triffid on Thursday, 16 July, Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Friday, 17 July, Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Saturday, 18 July, and concludes with a hometown show at Newcastle’s The Act at Earp Distillery on Sunday, 19 July.

The Newcastle rockers formed in 2015 and quickly gained traction with their early EPs, Days, released in 2015, and Vibes, a year later. The latter featured the band’s breakout singles Young – double Platinum in the US and Canada, Platinum in Australia, Silver in the UK, Gold in New Zealand and the Philippines – and Relax, certified Gold in the US and Canada.

Their 2018 debut album, Changes, featured the fan-favourite track Telephones. Vacations followed up their first record with 2020’s Forever in Bloom and 2024’s No Place Like Home, the latter catapulting them to grand new heights internationally.

Now, Vacations return to the stage after a year of recording, ready to present new tunes alongside the songs fans know and love.
