UV Boi فوق بنفسجي Announces National Tour And New Single

Following the drop of his new single Show You Ft. MTNS today, Unearthed hip hop prodigy from Brisbane UV BOI فوق بنفسجي has announced a nationwide tour kicking off Saturday, 9 Apri Jack Rabbit Slims in Perth. 

 

No stranger to the circuit and having already supported acts such as Yung Lean, Flosstradamus and Tkay Maidza this will be UV BOI فوق بنفسجي's biggest headline tour to date. Joining him on this seven date cross-country tour over April will be Collarbones, Gill Bates and Villette. 

 

After a stellar 2015 of achievements and accolades, UV has managed to rack up over 500k plays on Soundcloud and Spotify, landed a J-Award nomination for Unearthed Artist of the Year and even managed a collaboration with Canadian DJ/producer Ryan Hemsworth. 

 

Show You Ft. MTNS as a part of his debut EP「L-UV」and is due to be released 18 March, making a melodic imprint on the Australian hip-hop and club scenes. While taking influence from artists such as Wu Tang Clan and MF Doom early on in his music, what remains now is a clever arrangement of influences stemming from electronic music to R&B with that crisp but smooth 808 feel.
