US Metal Band MANOWAR Respond To Guitarist's Arrest On Child Pornography Charges

The band's farewell tour will continue as planned.

US metal outfit MANOWAR have issued a statement following guitarist Karl Logan's arrest for being in possession of child pornography.

As Blabbermouth reports, Logan was arrested on August 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina and charged with six counts of third-degree exploitation of a minor.

The 53-year-old has since been released on bail which was set at US$35,000.

In a statement posted to MANOWAR's socials through Magic Circle Entertainment Management, it has been confirmed that Logan will not perform with the group on their current farewell tour.

"Due to the fact that Karl and his attorneys are dealing with these issues, he will not perform with MANOWAR," the statement reads.

"The new album and upcoming tour will not be affected."

MANOWAR are scheduled to recommence their tour in February next year.
