US DJ Sued For Bailing On Australia's Jumanji Festival

US artist DJ Mustard (real name Dijon McFarlane) is reportedly being sued after pulling out of Australia's Jumanji Festival this past March just hours before the event kicked off. 

As TMZ reports, the rapper and producer allegedly pocketed $50,000 for the inaugural events, which was headlined by Lil Wayne, despite McFarlane never even flying to Australia. 

Promoters Noque Touring reportedly wired McFarlane the show fee and arranged airfare, hotel and transportation, despite his eventual no-show.

The morning of the Melbourne festival, the LA artist tweeted that he wouldn't be appearing as "unfortunately the business behind this show wasn't handled properly in time for me to make it there".

Organisers hit back at McFarlane's comments in a statement issued to Facebook the same day. 

"The Promoters are disappointed for the fans that DJ Mustard has decided not to travel to Australia and is confused by his comments and decision to not attend."

The Music has contacted Jumanji promoters for further comment.
