Upstart Sydney Punks Reveal New Single, Video and Tour

Three east coast shows scheduled for June/July

Sydney-based punk trio Bloods, who last year won hearts and minds as the buzz band of Brisbane's BIGSOUND conference, have announced their (somewhat belated) arrival in 2014 with a hat trick of goodness to disseminate among the people: new single Want It, its accompanying video clip, and a three-date east coast tour for good measure.

Want It has been a staple of Bloods' live show for a while, and was swiftly recognised as something of a fan favourite, making it a natural choice to be the first official single taken from their forthcoming, as-yet-untitled debut full length, due out in August via fledgling label Tiny Galaxy.

The release follows on from a successful 2013 for the young punks, with debut EP Golden Fang earning its fair share of accolades among local media and affording them enough gravitas as an act to take a place as co-headliners, along with good mates Major Leagues, for their upcoming June/July tour of Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

You can check out their just-released video for Want It, directed by mononymous lead singer/guitarist MC and long-time collaborator Dexter Cornelius, and edited by drummer Dirk, below:

Want It is available now for free on Soundcloud; keep an eye on the band's Facebook page for more information as the tour draws nearer.
