Unlocking The Truth premiere new song, video

Teenage wunderkinds Unlocking the Truth have premiered their latest track, showing off a mature sound, and style.

Just listen to those vocals. They're a lot deeper, if you ask us. But hey, that's adolescence for you.

'Take Control' promotes the band's upcoming album, '‘Chaos', which will mark the group's first release since leaving a recording deal with major label Sony that was reportedly worth $1.7 million.

Having premiered via Loudwire, the track (listen/view below) touches on themes of overcoming bullying. "I remember when I used to be bullied in school for the music that I love to play, the jeans that I love to wear. I always told myself that everything is going to be alright. You are going to take control of the world one day," Drummer Jarad Dawkins says.

If the band's decision to leave a lucrative (but perhaps problematic) deal and the new song's themes are anything to go by, Unlocking The Truth are already showing initiative, drive and passion beyond their years, and, for that, we tip our caps.
