"The first exciting steps with several more to come."

Australian heavy music powerhouse UNIFIED and touring mavens Live Nation Australasia have banded together to create a new touring arm called Unify Presents, with last week's Bring Me The Horizon tour announce as the tour de force's first venture.

With a wildly successful track record of tours like Big Ass Tour, Vance Joy, Northlane and Violent Soho and a number of sold out Unify music festivals, Unify Presents will be headed up by UNIFIED's Head Of Recorded Music and booker/promoter of the Unify Festival, Luke Logemann.

"We’ve always wanted to work more on the touring side of the business, and with the growth and innovation of our company and the amount of experience we’ve been able to acquire, it feels like the natural time for us to expand," Logemann told theMusic.com.au.

"We hold our relationships around the world in very high esteem and we love doing good business with good people. This is going to be an absolute blast."

Meanwhile, Roger Field, VP of promotions at Live Nation, told us of the partnership, "It’s great to be working on such exciting projects with the UNIFIED team. Their level of enthusiasm and engagement with the heavy music scene combined with Live Nation’s local and international networks paints a bright future for Australasian Heavy Music touring.

"Our partnership with UNIFIED, combined with promoter Nigel Melder joining our team, are just the first exciting steps with several more to come."
