"We are just pressing pause on it for a while as we are too focused on the management clients..."

Sydney-based entertainment company Umbrella have announced they will be temporarily closing the publicity arm of their company to focus on artist management.

Taking a back seat from the end of this month, the PR arm of the company has dealt with acts like Boomalli, Pines and Lily & The Bellows, along with record label Broken Stone Records, The Bald Faced Stag venue and brewery Young Henrys across event PR, album and single campaigns, online content creation and more.

"We are just pressing pause on it for a while as we are too focused on the management clients and the success they are having," confirmed Umbrella's founder and artist manager Greg Carey. "Don't really want mixed messages out there as it's only for a month or two whilst we get through a very busy period."

Founded in 2007, Umbrella's priority will be to focus its efforts on artist management clients such as Brissy band Cub Sport, indie rockers The Rubens, Elizabeth Rose, Saskwatch, Urthboy, Winterbourne and more.
