A music icon tells all.
Having helped shape reggae and punk as we know it today, legendary music filmmaker, radio presenter and DJ Don Letts will take part in Bakehouse Studios Why Punk? series next month.
The event will see Letts in conversation with RRR’s Woody McDonald, discussing everything from his time managing The Slips, directing music videos for artists like Bob Marley and The Clash and more.
Fans will also get to watch Letts’ Two Sevens Clash documentary and an excerpt from the Subculture series which focuses on punk and two-tone in the UK during the late ‘70s.
Letts first made his mark in the ‘70s as a DJ at iconic punk club The Roxy and now hosts a weekly show on BBC 6 Music.
It happens November 6 at Thornbury Theatre, with tickets now on sale.
