Tydi Signs Label Deal With Universal's Republic

Brisbane DJ tyDi has signed to Republic Records for the release of his new single Nothing Really Matters, which will hit digital retailers Friday 10 May.

The much-lauded club-floor favourite will join a global roster that includes Black Sabbath, Amy Winehouse and Florence + The Machine, amongst others.

Republic is a division of the Universal Music Group and is also home to imprints such as Cash Money, Republic Nashville and Lava Records. Tydi's debut album through the label is due out later this year and the company obviously see international potential in the new signing.

His current tour dates include:

Saturday 11 May – Fusion, Melbourne
Friday 17 May – Marquee, Sydney
Saturday 18 May – Platinum, Gold Coast
Friday 24 May – Family, Brisbane
Saturday 25 May – Villa, Perth

Saturday 20 July – Platinum, Gold Coast
