In what is a tragic end to this year's Reading & Leeds festivities in the UK, two 17-year-olds have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after the death of another 17-year-old at Leeds festival.
As The Guardian reports, authorities have taken in the two young men for questioning after Greater Manchester teen Lewis Haunch collapsed immediately after taking an unspecified drug, later dying in hospital.
Leeds Festival's police commander Keith Gilert said, "We are currently investigating the death and how he obtained the substance he took. At this time the indications are that the man consumed drugs immediately before he collapsed. A report will be sent to the coroner in due course."
The renowned festivals, both held from 26 to 28 August, boasted a line-up featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foals this year, as well as Aussies like Parkway Drive, The Temper Trap, Hot Dub Time Machine and DMA'S.

There have been a number of festival deaths of late, including one at Glastonbury and two at Stereosonic.
Gilert added, "Our thoughts are naturally with the family of the young man at this time. They were made aware of the incident by officers as soon as possible and were assisted to attend the hospital as quickly as possible. We will continue to support them through this difficult time."
