The Melbourne emo-punk/heavy-folk trio are hitting the road to support the brilliantly titled 'God Forbid Anyone Look Me In The Eye'
Melburnian emotion-punk/heavy-folk three-piece Two Steps On The Water are celebrating the impending release of their debut studio full-length, God Forbid Anyone Look Me In The Eye, with a run of east-coast shows next month.
Kicking off in Melbourne on Wednesday 27 July, at The Tote (with support from Spike Fuck and Gregor), the band knock over two further home-town warm-ups — The Curtin on Saturday 6 August, with Screaming Females and Camp Cope, and their official album launch show at The Tote on Friday 19 August with Camp Cope and RVG — before hitting the road proper.
Once they're out of town, they'll take to stages in Canberra (The Phoenix, 25 August, with Passive Smoke, Happy Axe and Ear Ache), Sydney (Red Rattler, 26 August, with Moonsign, Skin Prison and Dog Dirt), Brisbane (Trainspotters, 27 August, with Virginia Sook, Raw Sugar and Kate Woodhouse) and Sydney, where they wrap up at Jura Brooks on Sunday 28 August with support from Rachel Maria Cox and a selection of poetry readings (in keeping with the afternoon-show vibe).
The band have just released gorgeous new single and album track A Little Bit Scared; give it a burl below for a firsthand experience of the group's evocative, heartfelt and deeply personal creations.
