Brisbane marketing company SGC Media Group have announced a new partnership with heavy rock and metal PR set up, Collision Course.
Collision Course's Tim Price said of the joint venture: "This is an exciting new phase..."
“Collision Course has been about building a company from the ground up that’s specifically here to serve the metal and hard rock scenes and partnering with SGC gives us the best opportunity to push our genre forward."
The partnership will kick off with new releases over the coming months from Breaking Orbit, As Paradise Falls, Guards Of May, Balloons Kill Babies and Transience, as well as a number of label deals to be announced soon.
Stephen Green of SGC said teaming up with Price was an easy choice.
“From very early on as a publicist heavy rock has always been a big part of my history and more than ever I think it’s vital that options exist to promote music that REALLY understand the niches and audiences that exist,” he explained.
“I have known Pricey for a lot of years now and his passion, honesty and sheer nerd-style knowledge in the genre are rare traits. When the opportunity came to work together I jumped at the chance and I’m really excited about where we can take Collision Course when we let our crazy ideas run wild together!”
