Damon Albarn of Gorillaz fame has today revealed that his track Clint Eastwood was produced using a preset.

Its iconic piano section was produced using a preset called Rock One on a Suzuki Omnichord. 

He revealed the secret behind the track in an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music. 

The interview also saw Albarn talk about other famous musical instruments he has used over the past few decades. He talks through the importance of the Yamaha QY10 handheld and Boss VT-1 voice modulator.

In addition to showcasing the gear, he also talks about collaborative sessions and working with the likes of Lou Reed, Erykah Badu and Grace Jones.

Last month, Gorillaz released their eighth studio album Cracker Island. The record features a stacked list of collaborators including the likes of Thundercat, Tame Impala, Bad Bunny, Beck and more.

5 days after its release, the virtual group shared the album's deluxe edition with 5 more tracks.

It included the likes of De La Soul and Dawn Penn and the return of Del the Funky Homosapien who performed the top line vocals on Clint Westwood.
