Triple M, the rock and roll radio station we know and love, has branched out in a new partnership with Mitsubishi Triton and XXXX Beer to launch a new digital (DAB+) and LiSTNR radio service, Triple M Tradie Radio.
Featuring all the Aussie and international rock tunes you want to hear when you’re building, fixing, bending over toilets, and lifting concrete slabs, Triple M Tradie Radio is curated with hits by Oasis, The Offspring, Nirvana, AC/DC, Silverchair, and many more, to keep the tradie day going.
Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) Head of Music, Mickey Maher, commented in a press release, “Tradie Radio has a tool bag filled with only the best artists and tunes you would want to hear on any job site. Spanning across the ‘90s and 2000s we’re confident this is the soundtrack for tradies across the country.”
SCA’s Head of Client Services and Partnerships, Trevor Crook, added, “There was a clear opportunity to cater to Australia’s vast building industry, providing a ‘radio home’ for tradespeople working on site, the advertisers in this sector, and brands that want cut-through and a share of voice in it.”
“In designing Triple M Tradie Radio, we have created a one-stop shop for connection and entertainment. Triple M is already a much-loved brand in Australia, and this brand extension allows us to further deliver a bespoke offering across DAB+ radio and the LiSTNR app.”

Tradie Radio joins a string of stations hosted by Triple M in recent years, including Triple M 80s, Triple M Almost Acoustic, Triple M 2000s, Triple M Classic Rock, and Triple M Country.
Triple M kickstarted its expansion into country music in 2018. SCA Chief Creative Officer Guy Dobson said at the time, “The launch of the Triple M Country signals the continued growth and diversification of the Triple M brand across Australia”.
“This is the next brand extension for Triple M – offering even more solutions for our clients and an even broader audience reach.”
