That many people can't be wrong.
Triple J has dropped a stack of stats about this year's Hottest 100 following the station's move to shift the date of the iconic countdown.
It's been revealed that a massive 3.34 million Australians aged 16 and up tuned into the countdown; that works out to be 19% of Aussies in that age bracket.
The figures jump even higher when looking at the stations prime demographic, a whopping 30% of people aged 18-34 listened to the countdown on January 27.
In terms of streams, the most recent countdown counted 2.8 million streams across the day, smashing last year's stat three times over.
At its peak, there were 254,000 streams of the broadcast (just beaten by last year's 258,000 peak) which, arguably, makes it the largest streaming radio event worldwide.
The station also noted that it's yearly campaign to support AIME raised $250,000 this time around, with all funds going towards helping Indigenous youth through high school and university studies.
