Triple J Relaunches Unearthed Website With Heaps Of Brand New Features

"We're frankly over the moon with our new home"

Triple J subsidiary staple Unearthed have just unveiled the first look at their brand new website - set to streamline and upgrade the experience of listeners, reviewers and artists alike.

The website - which allows independent artists to upload their music for feedback and reviews from both general public and triple j broadcasters - has undergone significant changes and looks to keep adding to the updates in the near future.

The soft-opening most notably features a visual overhaul of the site with a brand new look for users, as well as an optimised design for mobile devices (which previously was not an option for visitors to the site).

"We're frankly over the moon with our new home," a statement from the website reads."We've wanted this for a looooong time - you can finally listen to songs on the go and even upload songs too if you're an artist.

The pop-up jukebox is dead. RIP jukey. Now, when you hit play on a track it'll appear in the player at the bottom of your browser or device. It'll follow you and continue playing as you move about the Unearthed site."

triple j Unearthed Executive Producer Tommy Faith also noted of the changes, "The new triple j Unearthed website has been a long time in the making and we're super buzzed to finally share it with you. This is just the first phase of what will be a series of developments for the platform with some essential features as well as some fun quirks still to come.

Faith continued, "for some time now the ambitions of the Unearthed platform have been far loftier than the website itself and our hope is that we can start bringing those two ideals in line. As we all love to say, big things coming!"
