Triple J Kicks Off Ausmusic Month With A Stack Of New Local Tunes

Get your November started off with a bang with these new Aus tunes.

Ausmusic month has officially kicked off today, and triple j are marking the occasion with some huge new tunes from around the country.

The fourth LP from Sydney electro outfit RUFUS DU SOL has nabbed the feature album slot for this week. The news comes as the band celebrate their third time hitting the ARIA #1 album slot.

"Hey Australia, thank you so much! We’re blown away to find out we are the #1 album," the group said in an official statement. "Honestly, it’s mind-blowing, so thank you for the support! We miss you guys. Shout out to everyone coming out of lockdown back home. We can’t wait to see you guys soon."

Meanwhile over in the new addition plays, get ready to hear tracks like Y U No Like Me by Kanada The Loop, Sunscreen by Ball Park Music, Naked by Jess Day, Now (In Space) by Montaigne, Casanova by Thornhill, We Them Boyz by A.Girl (featuring Jaecy), Bullet Through The Heart by Stellie, and On My Mind by Mashd N Kutcher.

Spot plays will also be coming over the next seven days courtesy of Doobs by Kobie Dee, Close Call by Greta Stanley, Light Year by Crooked Colours (featuring Masked Wolf and Jasiah), White Mercedes by Choomba, and October by Molly Millington.
