Triple J has today added new music to its playlist one last time for 2020, and the latest batch of additions will definitely keep punters going until the New Year.
The youth broadcaster has announced that Megan Thee Stallion’s Good News is this week’s Feature Album, while The Avalanches’ new record, We Will Always Love You (The Music’s Album Of The Week), has also been added to rotation.
As always, triple j has hand-picked some seriously catchy local tunes to soundtrack the week, with Bugs’ Old Youth Feeling, CamelPhat’s Easier (feat. LOWES), Genesis Owusu’s The Other Black Dog, Jerome Farah’s Vibrate, Liyah Knight’s Tipsy, Noah Dillon’s Knievel Daredevil (feat. Asha Jefferies), Ruel’s distance, ShockOne’s Follow Me and yergurl’s until we meet again making the cut.
Bridging the gap between homegrown talent and international artists is PNAU and Ladyhawke’s new collab, River, while King Princess’ PAIN and Machine Gun Kelly’s forget me too (feat. Halsey) will also be getting a wealth of airtime.
Over on the spot additions playlist, triple j Unearthed talent leads the charge as FELIVAND’s Ebb & Flow and RAT!hammock‘s Easy get picked up, joined by local favourite Kwame with GLORY and new music from Bea Miller (FEEL SOMETHING DIFFERENT feat. Aminé), Biig Piig (Feels Right) and You Me At Six (SUCKAPUNCH).
Triple J’s next new music additions will be announced on January 11.
