Travis Announce Their First Australian Tour In 24 Years

In 2026, multi-platinum and BRIT-award-winning Scottish alternative rock band Travis will return to Australia for the first time since their sold-out 2001 tour.

In January, Travis will take to theatres across the country and perform their classic album, The Man Who, in its entirety, as well as fan-favourites from throughout their storied career. The band’s second album, The Man Who, reached Platinum status in Australia, having sold more than 100,000 copies upon its release in 1999.

The tour begins at Metropolis Fremantle on Thursday, 8 January, followed by dates at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Saturday, 10 January, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Monday, 12 January, ICC Sydney Theatre on Wednesday, 14 January, and concludes at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Friday, 16 January.

Fans can access pre-sale tickets via Travis’ mailing list on Tuesday, 23 September, at 2 pm. Mastercard cardholders can also access pre-sale tickets on Tuesday at 2 pm, and will have access to preferred tickets on Thursday, 25 September, at 3 pm. Head to the Priceless website for more information.

Since their formation in 1990, Travis have released ten albums, with their most recent, L.A. Times, dropping last year. Following the success of The Man Who, Travis re-created that success with their follow-up album, The Invisible Band (2001).

Throughout the years, Travis have changed up their sound and continued experiencing commercial success with the albums that came after the early success of their first couple of albums. In 2016, the band were honoured at the Scottish Music Awards for their outstanding contributions to music.
