The Original 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater' Games Are Being Remastered With Original Tracks

You may now (kick)flip out.

The glorious days of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video games are making a comeback in 2020.

It has been confirmed today that the 1999 original and 2000 sequel will be remastered and re-released for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on 4 September.

If that wasn't good enough, the games will also include some of the all-time classic tracks featured on the originals from the likes of Rage Against The Machine, Papa Roach, Millencolin, Goldfinger, Primus and Dead Kennedys.

Check out the trailer below.

Tony Hawk's made a comeback in 2015 with a fifth installment, however the game was heavily panned by critics for poor graphics and multiple bug issues.

"Original maps, original skaters, and songs from the original soundtrack… plus new features," Hawk wrote in an Instagram post today.

"Thanks to all the fans of our series for keeping this dream alive."

Other major acts featured on Tony Hawk's throughout the years have included Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Ramones, Motorhead and Pro Skater 3 released in 2001 even included Aussie punk band, Bodyjar's hit song Not The Same.
