After spending the past month playing shows in the US and Canada, Adelaide songwriter Tom West is heading back to his home country to announce the release of a new EP and national tour.
The eight track EP entitled Oncoming Clouds, due for release on June 18, was produced by award winning producer John Castle, who has worked with fellow Aussie artists Vance Joy, Washington and Josh Pyke.
Speaking on the new material, drawn from his experiences as a traveler, lawyer and musician, West says: "Overall, the songs from Oncoming Clouds are about yearning for something without really knowing what that is."
West will kick off his national shows in Brisbane on July 2, before moving on to perform in Mclaren Vale, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
