The incident happened in New York overnight.
UK singer-songwriter Tom Grennan has been hospitalised after being attacked in the US.
Following a performance in New York overnight, the Little Bit Of Love hitmaker was the victim of an “unprovoked attack and robbery” outside of a Manhattan bar in the early hours of the morning.
A statement shared on Grennan’s socials via manager John Dawkins confirmed the artist was being treated by doctors in hospital for injuries that included a ruptured ear, torn eardrum and an “issue with his previously fractured jaw”.
Dawkins added that Grennan was “in good spirits but needs to temporarily recuperate whilst doctors assess his ability to continue with touring”.
Currently, only one show has been postponed, but Grennan’s team will update fans “should changes need to be made”.
Tom Grennan was recently featured as The Music’s Cover Artist, discussing his global hit Little Bit Of Love, the album it’s taken from, Evering Road, and more. You can read the interview here.
