Tkay MaidzaAdelaide singer and rapper Tkay Maidza has unveiled brand new single Flexin’ and an accompanying headline tour in support for this September.
The new tune is Maidza’s first solo release since her acclaimed 2016 debut album and features a guest verse from buzzing US rapper Duckwrth.
“Flexin' is an ode to being yourself and being unapologetic for it,” Tkay Maidza said.
“I went to a Mixpak dancehall night and rave in New York the night before I wrote this song with my friends and it was one of the most fun nights I had in a while.
“I was still awake at 8am and I remembered I had a session that day at 1pm, so I didn't sleep and went to the studio."
Maidza has enlisted Kwame and Arno Faraji for the Flexin' tour, which will kick off in Perth on September 7 before taking in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
