Timberwolf also scores big
Dominating festival stages and headline gigs around the country, Aussie rapper Tkay Maidza has walked way victorious from this evening’s SA Music Awards at Fowler's Live, scoring Best Female Artist among other awards.
The Adelaide singer was nominated in seven categories which follows a steady year of touring off the back of 2014’s Switch Tape EP, a released that claimed Best Release and Best Single for Switch Lanes.
Indie folkster Timberwolf, known to his pals as Christopher Panousakis, also walked away with numerous awards, including Best Male Artist and Best Songwriter, while punk rockers Grenadiers scored Best Group and Bad//Dreems locked down Best Live Act.
