Tired Lion Guitarist Announces Departure From Band

Tired Lion guitarist Matt Tanner has announced he has officially parted ways with the Perth band. 

In a statement posted to the group's Facebook page overnight, Tanner confirmed the news. 

"I started this band with my friends just after high school and have loved being able to write, create and perform for you all over the years," the post reads.

"This band has been a huge part of who I am so making this decision was very hard yet necessary for my own personal reasons. The show will definitely go on and I know the guys are most likely already working on a bunch of new tunes plus will be continuing to tour a whole heap.

"For anyone that’s ever come up to me telling me how much our music has meant to them or just nerding out about guitar stuff please know how awesome that has always made me feel."
