The 2015 Queenscliff Music Festival inches ever closer, with organisers unveiling a fifth and final batch of musical artists headed to the event's idyllic surrounds in rural Victoria this November, led by folk singer-songwriter Rough River and psych-garage trio Tiny Giants.
Both acts come to the festival as fresh recipients of the QMF Emerging Artist Grant Program, which will support both as they develop new albums. The prodigious pairing are flanked by a smorgasbord of locally sourced musical goodness, including Aine Tyrell, Bellarine VET Music, Gallie, Georgia Rodgers, Olly Friend, Rach Brennan, Revolution, Sean Patrick, Sweethearts,Tides of Welcome, Tom Richardson, and Velvet Bow.
Making its return this year will be the festival's well-received comedy program, which proved to be so popular last year that it's making its main-stage debut in 2015, ably staffed by the likes of veteran funnypeople such as Cal Wilson, Tom Ballard, Justin Hamilton and Tommy Little.
Rounding out the rear guard will be DJ Vince Peach, bringing his seriously epic vinyl collection along to spin tunes in the new Ozone Lounge venue, which includes a cafe, lounge and cocktail bar and is open to all QMF punters, having taken over the space previously occupied by the event's VIP offerings.
